Jake Up And Aware This Morning

Jake woke up this morning up and was aware. Extreemely exausted, it is unknown to me exactly where he is or how he is feeling. Recovering from the effects of the seizres is pretty certain but medically where he is is unknown. However, it appears that for the moment he has stepped up one step in the opposite direction from where he was or is heading. This could change in a moment and no one is fooling anyone. However he was aware enough for me to tell him that he is always driving this ship of decision and where it will go. He is on fluids right now and we will see what the day brings.

Hi Dan and Jacob. I'm Chris's
sister-in-law. Just wanted to let both of you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.Jack, you are such a fighter and an inspiration to everyone who has visited this site. You have given people hope who are on the same journey or who will be going down that long road. It will be a great blessing to know that you are never alone. You came to experience and learn for God. You have become a beacon of hope for the rest of us. Next to you we are not worthy. Dan, You have gone the extra mile for your child. Most of us can't even imagine
what you have gone through. I can only understand somewhat, losing a mother to cancer.
You have given Jake the chance to fight. I know he is very proud of you for that. God Bless you and your family.

To Dan:

There are a lot of us who are extremely proud of the effort you've put forth in the past two years. We all cherish the love you have for Jake and continue to wish the best in your battle. As said in the previous post, few of us will ever appreciate your roller coaster ride since the discovery of this disease. Many of us don't write, but read your posts on a regular basis and remain at your side.

To Jake:

There remain a lot of us who continue to pray for your miraculous recovery. Hang in there good buddy!

Dan, Jake

I have been following the blog regularly and have been very distressed at reading the last few posts. Dan, any response from Dr. Kumar and his team if they can still help ? If Jake is just a bit better, and they feel there is still some hope, may be worth a try ? I also note they have rolled out the new 864 model machine.

The long journey is daunting, but if you speak to the airlines I am sure someone will offer complimentary first class seats on compassionaite basis, and for their PR.
